Cranberry Sauce

Servings 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cranberries, rinsed
  • 1/2 cup orange juice from one orange
  • 2 tbsp orange zest from one orange
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (use 1/4 cup if you like it less sweet)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan over medium high heat. 

  2. Stir sporadically while the cranberries begin to pop and the mixture thickens, about 15 minutes. 

  3. Remove from heat once all the berries have popped and allow mixture to cool slightly before serving or storing in the refrigerator.
