Anyone else completely addicted to watching Tasty videos? I know I am. I decided to casually dip my toe in to the recipe video world and see how hard it would be to create this style of video as a team of one (me). Creating cranberry sauce is super simple so I thought that would be a great recipe to start with.
Here’s what I came up with:
What’d you think? Would you like to watch more of this style recipe video? Most of the people I talk to about embracing a healthy lifestyle fear that cooking 90% of your meals at home will be difficult, bland, boring, time consuming or too expensive. I have found (as have all my clients) that it is exactly the opposite. Eating clean is cost effective, delicious, liberating, exciting and simple. I feel that a great way to demonstrate that is through these tasty style videos. I would create the videos free of the top inflammatory offenders (gluten, dairy, processed sugar, soy) and show how simple it is to create delicious and healthy meals. Also showing how easy it is to customize recipes for any dietary preference.
What do you think? Would you enjoy watching more of these?
It was really fun to create – albeit challenging at first. They look easy, but there is definitely a lot of skill that goes into video production and editing! I’m hoping if I decide to do more it will get faster and easier to create content. Until next time . . . xo
